Bakehouse artist Amalia Caputo is participating in the group exhibition 51 años de desnudos, on view now at SPAZIO ZERO Galería in Caracas, Venezuela through January 19th.


Bakehouse artist Laura Marmol is participating in the group exhibition The Key to the Realm of Dreams Lies Within the Imagination: Unlocking Possibilities at Aqua Art for Miami Art Week. The exhibition will be on view December 6 through December 10th.


Bakehouse artist Luján Candria will soon be opening her first ever solo exhibition in New York City Desde las Raices al viento, opening December 1st at 6 pm at the Consulate General of Argentina. The exhibition is supported by Artemisa Contemporary Latin American Art, and will be on view through January 26th.

Bakehouse artist Sandra Ramos is participating in two projects with Pan American Art Projects: the group exhibition Text/Image, on view now through January 6th; and a solo exhibition, Sandra Ramos Special Project: Entropydoscopes (The Glitch), with the opening reception set for December 3rd from 11am to 4pm and on view through January 6th.

Sandra will also be participating in the group exhibition Vuelve a nosotros tus ojos. La Caridad nos une. Santuario Nuestra Senora de la Caridad opening December 4th, on view through December 15th. The exhibition is located at: 3609 S Miami Ave, Miami, FL, 33133.


On November 17, 2023, Bakehouse Board member, artist, and scholar Edouard Duval-Carrié and Executive Director Cathy Leff were awarded the Medal of the “ordre des Arts et des Lettres” by the Honorable Raphael Trapp, Consul General of France in Miami. This designation is among the highest civil honors bestowed by the French Republic and recognizes individuals for their contribution to French arts, culture, and heritage. Bakehouse artist Troy Simmons is participating in Art Basel 2023. His sculpture RELIC - 710 FORT is on view at the Fredric Snitzer Gallery booth (C1) from December 6th through December 10th.

Bakehouse artist Nicole Salcedo is participating in the group exhibition Save Art Space: Patterns In Nature, on view December 1st through December 27th at the bus stop on Washington Ave & 7th St, Miami Beach.


Bakehouse artist Christina Pettersson was recently selected to participate in No Vacancy, Miami Beach. Her installation The Garden of Evil is on view now through December 14th at The Cadillac Hotel and Beach Club.


Bakehouse artist Jenna Efrein has been commissioned by Miami Beach Edition Hotel to create an installation in their Matador Restaurant Bar. The installation will be on view from December 14th through January 2nd.


Bakehouse artist Judith Berk King is participating in the group exhibition Seas of Sorrow on view now at the Cultural Institute of Mexico, Mexican Consulate, here in Miami. The exhibition is on view through January 11th.


The TM Sisters, including Bakehouse artist Monica Lopez De Victoria and artist Tasha Lopez De Victoria, are participating in the group exhibition MAKING MIAMI, a public art exhibition, book, and permanent digital archive presenting work by extraordinary Miami artists who lived and worked in the city between 1996-2012. The artists’ work will be on view at Locust Projects December 6 through December 26, 2023.


Bakehouse Chief Technology Strategist and Planner Shawn Clybor is participating in a panel discussion with artist Carla Gannis, hosted by the Oolite Arts Satellite Space in Little River in honor of releasing the TRANSFER Data Trust— a new initiative that uses decentralized technology to reimagine contemporary media art archival, collection, and care practices.
