Bakehouse artist Andrea Spiridonakos’ artwork Mermaid Tail Coat was selected to be featured on the cover of Fiber Art Now Journal’s Winter 2024 issue "Excellence in Fibers IX.”

Andrea has also been commissioned by the Miami City Ballet to design costumes for the world premiere of Analogo. The ballet will be preformed at the Adrienne Arsht Center from February 9th through the 11th, and at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts from February 16th through the 18th.

Bakehouse artist Lauren Shapiro was selected to participate in the Artist in Residence in Everglades (AIRIE) program as the 2024 February Fellow.

Bakehouse artist Luján Candria is participating in the two-person exhibition Between Latitudes, alongside artist Marina Gonella, at Collective 62. The opening reception is on Wednesday, February 28th at 6:30PM, and will be on view through April 25th.

Bakehouse artist Nicole Salcedo is participating in the group exhibition Environmental Future III: South Florida Women Artists, on view now through April 21st at the Art and Cultural Center of Hollywood.

Two large-scale works by Bakehouse artist Alain Castoriano have been acquired by the Nordstrom in Aventura Mall, and will soon be on view.

Bakehouse artist Sandra Ramos recently participated in an Art + Conversation panel, alongside artist Alejandra Pinera and moderator Molly Mahoney.

Bakehouse artist Fabiola Larios is participating in the group exhibition Sea Change, opening at the Pérez Art Museum Miami on February 15th. The exhibition will be on view through August 18th.
