Bakehouse artist Amanda Linares was recently selected to be an Oolite Arts 2024 Studio Resident and Bakehouse artist Juan Matos was selected to be an Oolites Arts 2024 Cinematic Arts Resident.


Bakehouse artist Beatriz Chachamovits has an upcoming solo exhibition To Have and to Hold at The Kampong, featuring a new body of work, created with support from the Oolite Arts Creator Award.


City of Miami Chairwoman and District 5 Commissioner Christine King, Bakehouse Art Complex, Wynwood Norte Community Enhancement Association, artist Clara Toro, and community members for a ribbon cutting and public celebration of Toro's photographic installation Wynwood Norte: Un barrio de Miami on Saturday, January 27, 2024, 12 to 1:30pm, at Roberto Clemente Park (on the corner of NW 2 Avenue and 34 Street). Refreshments will be provided, compliments of El Bajareque Restaurant.

Bakehouse artist Morel Doucet was recently selected to be a 2024 Artist in Residence in the Everglades (AIRIE) Fellow. Morel will also be participating in the monthly artist talk series, AIRIE Asks, on January 18th at 6pm.


Bakehouse alum Chire Regans (VantaBlack) was recently selected to be an Oolite Arts 2024 Studio Resident.


Bakehouse Bakehouse Assistant Director of Programs + Community Engagement and independent curator Laura Novoa curated the Design, Photography & Visual Arts Exhibition for the 2024 national cohort of YoungArts winners. The exhibition is on view now through February 1st .
