Form — FunctionNovember 8th – November 28th, 2008 In the second installment of “Bridging the Gap”: Both artist in residence institutions The ArtCenter/ South Florida and The Bakehouse Arts Complex have a long standing reputation for fostering the careers of Artists in the multitude of disciplines in Contemporary Art. These artists work with different processes and materials to communicate ideas and as they shape their works from conceptualization into a tangible form, the dialogues maintained are as diverse as the artists themselves. Exhibition Opportunities
The Bakehouse Art Complex offers opportunities for emerging and established curators and artists each month in both our Swenson Gallery and Main Gallery. Curators committed to developing their professional curatorial practice are encouraged to submit proposals for exhibitions. The Bakehouse administration will work closely with the curator through the course of the exhibition in assisting with preparation and presentation.
