Studio Opportunities
The Bakehouse Art Complex is a 33,000 square foot arts facility situated in the internationally renowned Wynwood Arts District with over 50 galleries, alternative spaces, private collections, and museums. BAC is home to 70 affordable studio spaces that range from 200 to 820 square feet, two exhibition galleries, a classroom, fully equipped jewelry studio, photo and print labs, and a communal region dedicated to woodworking and welding. Prices include common area maintenance fee. Artists have access to their studios 24 hours a day 7 days a week and have the opportunity for exposure through our monthly Second Saturday Wynwood art openings. Associate Artists
Don’t need a studio, but would like exhibition opportunities? No problem. BAC has an established program with artists who are affiliated with our organization for just that purpose. The Associate Artist membership allows for affiliates to exhibit work annually in a limited number of exhibitions, attend scheduled BAC events or lecture series, and receive our timely E-bulletins that include call to artists, grant opportunities, and community artist information without having a studio here.
